About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager in London to join the S&P Global Digital Platform team. You will discover, partner, design, implement, and execute technology and business strategies to support and evolve our content management systems. This role involves working with Digital and vertical business line Product Management teams, Content Creators, and Ops teams to lead the execution and rollout of large initiatives aimed at innovating and streamlining digital workflows for content delivery, leveraging AI and automation for efficiency and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear execution vision for the product in collaboration with Editorial and Research, Technology, Business Operations, and Data teams, matching execution to the strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with Content Management technical and product leaders on the roadmap and project go-live.
  • Develop, maintain, and streamline the functional architecture of Content Management Platforms and related tools.
  • Drive innovation for maximum operational efficiency through the adoption of smart automation and AI-driven tools.
  • Identify, champion, and integrate AI/ML technologies (including but not limited to Generative AI, Machine Learning platforms, or similar solutions) into content workflows to improve content creation, curation, and delivery processes.
  • Identify and manage risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Track record of driving transformation, defining and implementing operating models, and strategic alignment.
  • Proven ability to allocate resources effectively, manage risk, monitor performance, and ensure governance.
  • Experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence decision-making.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (such as Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, Large Language Models, or equivalent technologies) and proven experience in integrating AI solutions into product roadmaps or content management systems.
  • Significant experience working within a product organization, understanding common product lingo and product development cycles, and bridging knowledge gaps between technical teams and non-technical teams.
  • Previous experience in editorial/content workflows preferred.
