About the Role
Data, insight and evidence are at the heart of great communications. We are looking for an experienced insight and evaluation professional to join our growing team and help Cancer Research UK to deliver more impactful communications and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality insight, research and evaluation projects that deepen understanding of key audiences and support effective communications and campaigns.
- Provide clear, compelling and actionable analysis that enables evidence-based decision making.
- Act as a subject matter expert on audience insight, evaluation approaches and measurement methodologies.
- Support effective communications planning by identifying opportunities to integrate data and evidence into our strategies and grids.
- Promote a culture of insight by coaching and upskilling colleagues on best practices of communications measurement.
- Lead on the use of social listening, audience analysis and evaluation tools across the communications department and wider charity.
- Build strong relationships across Cancer Research UK and influence stakeholders to adopt insight-led approaches.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering rigorous insight, research and evaluation projects in the field of communications.
- Strong understanding of communications insight and evaluation methodologies.
- Experience using traditional communications measurement tools and frameworks, as well as a working knowledge of social listening, audience segmentation and digital engagement tracking.
- Proficiency in using evidence to inform communications planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
