About the Role
Cinépolis USA is a luxury cinema exhibitor operating under the "Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery" concepts. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the KM in providing direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees.
- Ensure food preparation, safety, sanitation, and adherence to company policies.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food execution.
- Prepare food to recipe specifications within company-approved ticket times.
- Ensure food product freshness through proper purchasing and FIFO rotation.
- Monitor food storage and temperatures daily, recording data and reporting issues.
- Communicate, implement, and follow up on changes to food products and kitchen systems.
- Perform daily opening, mid, and closing operation duties.
- Attend training for new menu items and train kitchen staff on their preparation.
Requirements
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Food Certification required.
- Exceptional guest service orientation.
- Comfortable communicating and working with guests, peers, subordinates, vendors, or partners.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, bend, and traverse stairs frequently.
- Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must act with integrity and lead by example.
- Employee may be asked to light lift 25lbs to 50lbs occasionally with assistance.
