About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in advancing complex cases and mentoring junior attorneys and staff within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex personal injury matters from inception through resolution/verdict.
- Conduct depositions, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, and trials.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Strategize and execute case plans to maximize outcomes for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Contribute to firm operations, growth, initiatives, and departmental leadership.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.
- Minimum 10 years litigation experience.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law and procedure.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Prior management or supervisory experience in a law firm or litigation department is a plus but not required.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
