About the Role

This position primarily provides Human Resources related functions on a professional level and works closely with the HR Team in supporting the organizations operations while providing excellent customer service. The Human Resources Generalist will specialize in talent acquisition and assist in day-to-day operations, filling in for other Human Resources Staff as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support full cycle recruitment including posting positions, candidate review, interview coordination, pre-employment process, and onboarding via ATS through ADP/Vidcruiter.
  • Coordinate and participate in new-hire orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and process changes, including new hires, job changes, status changes, and offboarding.
  • Process K-checks, CHRC statuses, and DMV checks for drivers.
  • Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with temporary agencies to approve temporary employee assignments.
  • Train and assist with Payroll and serve as payroll back-up.
  • Renew CNA certifications monthly and track licenses for licensed staff.
  • Maintain COVID vaccination recordkeeping for reporting purposes.
  • Partner with leadership to provide coaching/counseling on employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Provide administrative support for the department as needed.
  • Assist with department projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Prior HR experience required.
  • ADP/payroll processing experience.
  • Professional and positive attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
