About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst with deep expertise in web and app analytics to drive data-informed product and growth decisions. You will solve challenging business problems using digital product usage and customer data to create the best digital product experiences. Your insights will drive user experience design, product development, and customer journey optimization, and you will provide professional-grade dashboarding and reporting for critical product and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner widely across the Senior Product organisation to set strategic priorities and promote evidence-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Utilize project management skills to plan and execute data-driven projects.
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure product feature impact and optimize user experiences.
  • Develop automated reporting and dashboards to democratize data access and enable self-service analytics.
  • Build sophisticated analytics solutions to define KPI trees, design measurement frameworks, and track product performance across app and web platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to increase efficiency in data analysis, reporting, and insight generation workflows.
  • Communicate complex data and statistical concepts persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Review implementations of multiple teams across domains as a technical expert, continuously improving deliverables.
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • A BS or equivalent in business, computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or a relevant quantitative field.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) / Snowplow, including advanced configuration and custom event tracking.
  • Experience with Mixpanel/Amplitude.
  • Advanced BigQuery experience required, including complex SQL queries, query optimization, data modeling, and working with large-scale datasets.
  • Advanced Python programming skills for data analysis, automation, and building analytical tools (pandas, numpy, etc.).
  • Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated track record of leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to increase personal and team productivity.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio required.
  • Deep understanding of product analytics methodology like Cookie/Event tracking, user behavior analysis, and Event experimentation design.
  • Proficiency with descriptive and inferential statistics required.
  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data stack tools preferred.
  • Previous experience in fast-paced product-led or consumer-facing technology companies required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience analyzing complex data in a business context, with at least 3 years focused on product or web/app analytics.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects from ambiguous problem statements to actionable recommendations.

Salary/Compensations

  • $88,200—$98,200 CAD
