About the Role
As a Partner Engineer at Gigs, you will own the full customer lifecycle, from initial technical discussions through to go-live and ongoing support. You will serve as the technical and commercial lead for customer relationships, ensuring successful integration and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the deal from the technical side, working with the BDM team on active pipeline, running discovery, validating feasibility, and scoping integrations.
- Lead implementations end-to-end, working directly with customer engineering and product teams to define feature sets, journeys, and architecture.
- Ensure the B2B2C motion works by understanding customer positioning and sales strategies, and defining high-converting consumer experiences.
- Act as a forward-deployed product lead, identifying blocking features and collaborating with internal and external teams to find solutions.
- Manage a portfolio of high-stakes projects simultaneously across different verticals and geographies.
- Build the playbook by creating processes, templates, and frameworks for the function.
Requirements
- 5+ years in solutions engineering, partner engineering, or professional services at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company.
- Experience spanning pre- and post-sales.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or developer-platform businesses is a strong signal.
- Experience working the full lifecycle, from technical discovery calls to delivering on scoped integrations.
- Understanding of the difference between selling a capability and building it, and experience bridging that gap.
- Experience in businesses where customer success depends on user adoption.
- Technically fluent, capable of discussing API architecture, webhooks, and integration design with engineers, and translating technical concepts into product strategy for C-suite executives.
- Precise and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience operating in an environment with ambiguity and organizing it.
