About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist at our Berlin-Adlershof location, you will play a central role in our operational logistics. You will be responsible for goods receipt, warehouse management, and shipping, including dangerous goods, ensuring a safe, efficient, and smooth material flow through structured work. Your contributions will be vital for the reliable and timely execution of our daily logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Performing shipping processes, including documentation.
  • Preparing shipments of cartons, palletized goods, drums, and IBCs.
  • Moving and picking goods using pallet jacks, hand pallet trucks, or forklifts.
  • Assembling finished containers.
  • Labeling packaging according to dangerous goods regulations.
  • Handing over shipping units to the shipping service provider, including proper documentation.
  • Ensuring the smooth flow of daily goods receipt, including unpacking and checking goods against delivery notes for completeness and integrity.
  • Scanning delivery documents and internally distributing delivered goods.
  • Providing and disposing of operational and shipping materials.
  • Warehouse management and logistics.
  • Structured organization, cleanliness, and safety of work areas and the warehouse.
  • General tasks to ensure operational processes, including inventory and dangerous goods transport.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in warehousing, logistics, or shipping is advantageous.
  • Friendly interaction within the company and with freight forwarders.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and economical warehouse management.
  • Proficient in packing chemical products and knowledge of dangerous goods.
  • Resilience in performing physical work.
  • Proficient in German (minimum level B2) and English (minimum level B1).
  • Valid residence permit for Germany.
