About the Role

Join emp BIOTECH as a Technical Employee in Chemical Production in Berlin-Adlershof. You will contribute to innovative healthcare solutions in a dynamic team with a modern work environment, short decision paths, and regular working hours without shift work, ensuring a good work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare, produce, clean, package, and quality control chemical products on a production scale.
• Manufacture buffer solutions up to pilot plant scale.
• Package and label goods for shipment, including securing dangerous goods for transport.
• Independently organize the disposal of chemicals, empty drums, and waste products, including necessary communication and planning.
• Independently plan, set up, prepare, and produce products according to requirements and necessary apparatus.
• Prepare analytical instruments and perform independent analyses for quality control of raw materials and intermediate products.
• Support production and filling of nucleic acid reagents on a laboratory scale.
• Monitor ongoing production processes, including safety and leak-tightness of equipment.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain production machinery.
• Assist with goods receipt and handover, as well as other operational tasks.
• Prepare and package dangerous goods for transport.

Requirements

• Successfully completed chemical training.
• Experience in the production of chemicals for the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Independent, goal-oriented work style.
• Sense of responsibility, organizational and communication skills, flexibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace.
• Proficient in handling hazardous materials.
• Enjoy working collaboratively in a team with good self-organization.
• Secure command of German (minimum B2 level) and English (minimum B1 level).
• Valid residence permit for Germany.
