About the Role
You are a Live-Expert who remains calm under pressure, finds quick solutions to technical challenges, and ensures reliable production runs. You combine live streaming, broadcast technology, and post-production to create high-quality video content. This position is temporarily limited to 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Technically plan, manage, and oversee livestream productions, from preparation and cabling to image, sound, and streaming, through to secure output.
- Set up cameras, vision mixers, presentations, remote connections, and streaming platforms, ensuring stability before and during production.
- Conduct technical rehearsals, identify potential risks early, and find pragmatic solutions quickly, even under live conditions.
- Advise production teams and clients on technical implementation and develop suitable setups for small and large live formats.
- Support the post-production team with editing and contribute technical and creative experience to other film projects alongside live productions.
Requirements
- Experience with live streams, broadcast, event, or video productions, understanding how technical systems reliably work together in live operation.
- Completed vocational training or a degree in a relevant field.
- Solution-oriented thinking, conscientious work ethic, and ability to maintain an overview during hectic periods before live starts.
- Proficiency with cameras, vision mixers, audio technology, streaming platforms, and digital production tools, or a desire to expand expertise in these areas.
- Native-level German language skills and good written and spoken English.
- Willingness to be hands-on, interest in technical innovations, and a desire to actively shape the development of modern live and video formats.
