About the Role
Ginsberg’s Foods in Hudson, NY is looking to hire a full-time Day Warehouse Associate. This role involves operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment and offers a paid workout. The associate will be responsible for receiving, unloading, sorting, replenishing, pulling, and loading freight, as well as performing dock clerk duties when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Receives, unloads, sorts, replenishes, pulls and loads freight.
- Supports the functions of the Dock Clerk and Receiving Clerk when necessary.
- Supports the picking and product loading functions for Will Call customers.
- Uses an automated voice pick system to pick orders from the Dry, Cooler and Freezer sections of the warehouse.
- Replenishes product in the appropriate pick slots.
- Loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.
- Builds and wraps pallets in a manner that allows for safe transport of the product.
Requirements
- Must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that range from 1lb – 80lbs.
