About the Role

We are looking for an agile and proactive Interior Sales Assistant with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit to provide an enhanced retail experience for OKA customers through outstanding customer service, product knowledge, and enthusiasm for beautiful interiors.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to OKA customers.
• Offer advice and guidance on products to customers in person and via phone.
• Generate and maximize revenue to meet sales targets.
• Execute EPOS transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Process payments and associated transactional paperwork.
• Identify sales opportunities.
• Promote the OKA In-Store Design Advisors and Interior Design Service (IDS).
• Greet all customers and offer assistance.
• Manage customer returns.
• Communicate care and maintenance instructions for customer purchases.
• Uphold presentation standards for the store and back office areas.

Requirements

• Previous luxury retail experience, ideally within the furniture or homeware sectors.
• Passion for providing best-in-class customer service and building lasting customer relationships.
• Proven soft selling skills, including link-selling of complimentary products.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Flexible approach to working weekends, public holidays, and occasional travel.
• Target-driven.
• Keen interest and enthusiasm for beautiful interiors.
• A creative, problem-solving spirit.
• Passion for the OKA brand.
