About the Role
Join our clinic and strengthen our somatic team as a Speech Therapist specializing in Neurology. This is a permanent, full-time/part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and therapy of speech and language disorders, as well as swallowing disorders in patients across all departments (Neurology, including Stroke Unit, Geriatrics, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, and Surgery).
- Consultation with relatives.
- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in Speech Therapy or Language Therapy, or a degree/studies in Patho-linguistics.
- Certified further training in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).
- Experience in neurological and/or geriatric early rehabilitation, weaning, stroke unit, and acute neurology is desirable.
- Experience in the diagnosis and therapy of dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, speech apraxia, and neurological voice disorders.
