About the Role

This role supports the Supply Chain team in managing order processes, ensuring product delivery, and maintaining high service levels. The position involves collaborating with UK and European colleagues to handle order management, logistics, and customer inquiries within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders with high accuracy, managing information flow and delivery logistics.
  • Monitor special customer requirements regarding pick, pack, and transportation lead times.
  • Review and monitor backorders, proactively communicating issues to customers and sales teams.
  • Support department service level goals for On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Evaluate and action requests for returns, claims, and credit notes.
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles and procedure manuals.
  • Manage customer product/material code files and update SAP with relevant changes.
  • Inform customers regarding product availability, sales forecasts, and delivery delays.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, claims, and complaints within agreed time frames.
  • Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly reports to drive order status actions and resolve delivery challenges.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG or cosmetics.
  • Educated to a minimum of A-level or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Prior experience in SAP is mandatory.
  • Highly developed IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Flexible and responsive working style.
  • Strong communication skills via email, telephone, and written correspondence.
