Responsibilities

  • Work to agile best practices and cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Help clients design, implement, and operationalize AI governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives.
  • Support clients in navigating emerging AI regulations, standards, and guidance while enabling innovation and business value.
  • Facilitate workshops, governance forums, risk assessments, and operating model design activities with senior stakeholders.
  • Live in-person whiteboarding sessions to problem solve as a team, alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.

Requirements

  • Must be an established consulting professional with experience delivering projects focused on AI governance, responsible AI, AI risk management, model governance, or emerging technology regulation within the private sector.
  • Ideally, should have experience consulting with Life Sciences, Government or Consumer & Manufacturing sector clients.
  • Thrive in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience with AI governance frameworks, policies, controls, and operating models.
  • Experience interpreting and applying AI-related regulations, standards, and guidance, such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, OECD AI Principles, and emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting AI risk assessments, model governance reviews, algorithmic impact assessments, or responsible AI evaluations.
  • Familiarity with AI lifecycle governance, including controls relating to model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, explainability, transparency, accountability, and human oversight.
  • Experience working with Generative AI technologies and associated governance considerations, including data usage, intellectual property, security, privacy, bias, and model risk.
  • Ability to efficiently understand client organizations and their business models and to tailor AI governance approaches to their strategic, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders (e.g. business, legal, compliance, risk, IT, security, data science, and engineering teams) on AI governance and responsible AI matters.
  • An analytical mindset, with a focus on producing quality work in a results-oriented environment.
  • Experience implementing governance tooling, AI inventory solutions, model risk management platforms, or GRC technologies.
  • Experience with data governance, privacy, cyber security, model risk management, or technology risk disciplines.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as ISO 42001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, IAPP AIGP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, AWS/Azure AI certifications, or equivalent.
  • Experience defining AI governance processes, committees, policies, standards, controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience supporting AI governance programs within highly regulated sectors is preferred.
  • For some UK roles, applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK for security clearance.
  • Applicants must be a British citizen or have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years for security clearance.
