About the Role

Provide critical coordination and tracking for a program designed to help line managers and colleagues build their careers. The core purpose is to work with the People Development Manager to keep this initiative structured, visible, and running smoothly, helping teams build resilience, focus on wellbeing, and develop future skills. This role also involves supporting wider team events, flagship initiatives, financial admin, and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, trackers, and risk logs.
  • Schedule and coordinate virtual and face-to-face workshops, interactive labs, check-ins, and coaching circles.
  • Manage event logistics, including invitations, calendars, attendee lists, waitlists, joining instructions, and post-session follow-ups.
  • Provide hands-on virtual support during online sessions, managing breakout rooms, polls, attendance tracking, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal facilitators, participants, key stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage and update digital learning portals, shared drives, slides, participant workbooks, and facilitator resources.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-workshop evaluation forms, compile feedback data, and create simple visual reports from insights.
  • Write clear, warm, and engaging communications for managers and colleagues to promote learning opportunities and campaigns.
  • Support wider team operations, including basic financial admin (raising Purchase Orders, tracking spend), preparing presentation materials, and providing cover for the wider R&D team.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify operational processes and create simple templates or checklists.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project coordination within a Learning & Development environment.
  • Strong planning, time-management, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholder expectations, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Methodical approach to accuracy, especially when handling feedback data or managing document version control.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a clear, structured, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), booking platforms, internal communication portals, or HR databases.
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications (Calendar, Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets).
  • Comfortable with data-tracking and basic spreadsheet skills.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative to solve everyday operational problems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with care.
  • Collaborative approach with the confidence to build trusted, professional relationships with colleagues across all organisational levels.
  • Ability to shift smoothly between structured project tracking and general operational support.
  • Basic understanding of workplace adult learning and how to measure learning success.
  • Ability to turn feedback into actionable reports.
  • Experience creating simple, clear dashboards or visual summaries to showcase programme engagement.
  • Flexibility when priorities shift, maintaining a calm, constructive presence during change.
  • Genuine interest in employee experience, wellbeing, and personal growth.
  • National travel will be expected to support learning events.
  • Personal flexibility is essential due to varying travel requirements.
