About the Role

You will actively shape the future of the demolition, waste management, and hazardous substance remediation sector, developing concepts and processes that will sustainably define this field. You will collaborate closely with the building diagnostics team and work on diverse existing buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop economic remediation, demolition, recycling, and disposal concepts for the proper handling of building hazardous substances and waste.
  • Support the structural engineering project manager from inventory to execution, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and budget.
  • Advise clients, planners, and project stakeholders, coordinate technical solutions, and contribute expertise throughout all project phases.
  • Oversee on-site implementation, monitor demolition work, and ensure proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology, Geology, Process Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in building demolition, hazardous substance remediation, waste management, or a similar field.
  • Structured work approach, ability to take responsibility, and maintain an overview of complex projects.
  • Collaborative attitude towards clients, authorities, and project stakeholders, with a focus on developing economically viable, practical solutions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations for demolition, hazardous substances, and disposal is ideal.
  • Experience with AVA, CAD, or project management software, as well as ZEDAL, is advantageous.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and actively contribute expertise is paramount.

Salary/Compensations

  • €48,000 to €60,000 gross per month, depending on qualifications and experience, with development potential.
