About the Role
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for the new and further development of modern and accessible (web) frontends for our products. You will be involved in API integrations, performance optimizations, and implementing and maintaining tests for quality assurance. You will also actively participate in our agile framework and collaborate closely with UX, backend development, and product owners.
Responsibilities
- New and further development of modern and accessible (web) frontends for our products
- Responsibility and co-design of the UI architecture and component design
- Use of modern frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Tailwind) and current best practices
- Participation in API integrations (REST) and performance optimizations
- Implementation and maintenance of tests (e.g., Playwright and vitest) for quality assurance
- Participation in one or more agile development teams
- Close collaboration with UX, backend development, and product owners
- Active co-design and continuous further development of our agile framework (currently Scrum) and active participation in all relevant events and ceremonies
Requirements
- Completed degree in (media) computer science or a comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge of HTML/CSS, Typescript/JavaScript, and REST
- Experience with the development of React applications or a similar component-based framework (e.g., Vue)
- Experience with the NodeJS ecosystem and bundle/build tooling (e.g., vite)
- Interest in the implementation of complex user interfaces as well as accessible and reusable UI components
- Experience with automated testing and corresponding tooling (e.g., vitest, playwright) and quality standards
- Confident use of Git (experience with GitLab desirable)
- Familiar with CI/CD and deployment processes, ideally with containerization and Kubernetes
- Strong agile maturity and a solid understanding of agile principles and methods
- Good German and English language skills
- Prerequisite for employment: Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ1 / SÜ2)
