About the Role
This role involves working on the world's most advanced electronics within the aerospace and defense industry, focusing on solving difficult problems and innovating for the future. The position supports a 2nd Shift with a pay premium and operates on a 4/10 work week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to improve processes and resolve assembly issues
- Participate in training sessions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Operate AOI and X-Ray machines to inspect circuit boards or surface mount devices, capturing and analyzing images to detect defects such as shorts, opens or misalignments
- Perform manual rework including cleaning shorts and correcting defects
Requirements
- Knowledge of quality standards, inspection protocols, and defect criteria to maintain product compliance with specifications
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings
- Ability to become solder certified
- Effective communication and team work
- Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team
- A passion for learning/knowledge
