About the Role

As our Early Careers Program Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our Graduate and Internship Programs, creating experiences that help our early career talent feel welcomed, supported, challenged and inspired throughout their journey with Transgrid. You will coordinate onboarding and induction through to rotations, learning experiences, development activities and program milestones, ensuring every participant has an engaging experience and helping shape the future workforce that will power Australia's energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate our Graduate and Internship programs from onboarding through to program completion.
  • Deliver memorable onboarding and induction experiences that set participants up for success.
  • Be the trusted first point of contact for graduates, interns, managers and program stakeholders.
  • Build meaningful relationships that foster engagement, wellbeing and a positive employee experience.
  • Track program milestones, maintain participant records and monitor key program outcomes.
  • Support our Early Careers recruitment campaigns, including assessment centres, careers events and university engagement.
  • Represent Transgrid at careers fairs and networking events, helping inspire future talent to join our organisation.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating Early Careers programs, talent development initiatives or recruitment programs.
  • Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver seamless experiences.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to engage with emerging talent.
  • A passion for creating positive employee experiences and supporting career development.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to simplify, innovate and enhance programs.
  • Confidence using technology and a curiosity to embrace new tools, including AI and automation.
  • Experience with university engagement, employer branding or graduate recruitment will be highly regarded.
