About the Role
Lead the digital marketing strategy for EDF Business and Wholesale Services (BWS), driving performance across digital channels, strengthening brand visibility, and enhancing customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver BWS-wide digital marketing campaigns across web, paid media, email, social, and search channels.
- Own website optimisation, SEO, and GEO best practice to improve visibility, engagement, and conversion.
- Measure campaign effectiveness, analyse performance data, and implement continuous improvements.
- Provide editorial governance across digital content, thought leadership, podcasts, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create consistent, customer-focused marketing experiences.
Requirements
- Deliver multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.
- Utilize marketing databases, analytics platforms, campaign performance analysis, and A/B testing to drive measurable outcomes.
- Manage website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Peek.ai, and other SEO or Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) platforms.
- Develop and govern website content, thought leadership, podcasts, and social media activity within brand and regulatory standards.
- Create integrated campaign and channel strategies that improve engagement, conversion, and commercial performance.
- Manage marketing budgets, forecast expenditure, and demonstrate return on investment.
- Lead, develop, and coach high-performing teams.
- Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Use customer insight and performance data to inform strategic decisions and optimise marketing activity.
- Manage agencies and external suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes and value.
- Work with CRM platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, to support lead generation and lead nurturing.
- Create and manage digital content strategies including blogs, editorial plans, and podcast marketing.
- Work with modern website platforms such as Drupal and Sanity.
- Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging digital tools, trends, and technologies.
- Operate effectively within regulated environments while maintaining strong governance and brand compliance.
