About the Role
Provide independent, objective assurance on the effectiveness of the organization's technology control framework through the delivery of the annual audit plan and remediation of identified issues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the IT audit program, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
- Conduct audits covering access and identity management, information security (including GDPR and technical security), system reviews, programmes and projects, and supplier management.
- Contribute IT testing and support to financial and commercial audits.
- Identify and document technology risks within the audit universe.
- Participate in multi-auditor engagements, potentially leading cross-disciplinary teams.
- Ensure audit work meets quality standards within specified timeframes and budget.
- Create high-quality, value-adding reports with clear recommendations.
- Partner with the business to remediate identified issues and explore solutions.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and support ad hoc projects.
- Deliver advisory services and technical controls advice.
- Develop a strong understanding of business operations and system interactions.
- Understand the IT estate of each business within the Group to support IT risk management.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with key business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree qualified, preferably in an IT-related subject.
- Certified IT auditor (preferably CISA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Relevant industry experience is beneficial (on-line/digital, betting & gaming).
- Strong core IT audit skills, knowledge of IIA professional standards, and understanding of current IT auditing methodologies.
- Experience with data-driven auditing and analytical reviews.
- Previous experience in a tough regulatory environment is desirable.
- Experience partnering the business to facilitate improvement.
- Experience working within a large, complex, multinational organization.
- Familiarity with risk, control, and governance structures.
- Comfortable with periodic international business travel, occasionally at short notice and for up to two weeks.
