About the Role

As a (Junior) Customer Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers, acting as the friendly face and voice of the company in daily operations. You will handle all incoming written and phone inquiries reliably and quickly, from general questions about services to practical matters concerning personal finance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, empathetically and solution-oriented supporting German-speaking customers via phone, email, and chat.
  • Independently and systematically process recurring inquiries and concerns regarding products and services.
  • Explain complex issues simply, assist with uncertainties, and build trust through a friendly demeanor.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced support specialists and customer advisors, cleanly handing over cases for deeper or more complex issues.
  • Act as an interface within the team, working closely with more experienced support specialists and customer advisors.

Requirements

  • Fluent written and spoken German.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Strong service mentality, genuinely enjoying helping people and maintaining friendliness in both calm and stressful situations.
  • Clear, understandable, and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Hands-on mentality, working thoroughly and enjoying solution-oriented processing in daily business.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high self-motivation.
  • Ideally, some prior experience in customer service (e.g., banking, finance, credit, or e-commerce) is a plus, but not required.
