About the Role
Rippling's mission is to free smart people from the administrative burden of running their business through automation. This role will lead the evolution of Workflow Studio into a next-generation agentic automation platform, defining its vision, strategy, and roadmap across all Rippling product lines. It's a highly visible position with significant product ownership and technical collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own Workflow Studio – Rippling's cross-product automation engine.
- Own the reliability and quality of the platform while advancing it to AI-powered and agentic automation.
- Define triggers, conditional logic, approvals, and escalations across Rippling's product surface area.
- Collaborate with engineering on event-driven architectures and pipeline infrastructure, and shape LLM integration.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to drive adoption.
Requirements
- Experience owning a public-facing platform or infrastructure product (PaaS, automation, integration, or workflow orchestration) that customers built on and depended on.
- Experience being responsible for revenue from a platform or infrastructure product.
- Demonstrated technical depth in owning infrastructure, including navigating event-driven architectures and pipeline systems.
- Informed point of view on how AI changes workflow automation.
- Strong opinions about the future of workflow automation.
- Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles.
