About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. This role involves guiding patients through the imaging process and collaborating cross-functionally to support clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
• Practice radiation protection techniques for patients and staff
• Prepare images for radiologist review
• Assist with medical assistant duties to maintain patient flow
• Attend staff and departmental meetings
• Complete DOT certification for urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests
• Propose improvements to processes and workflows
• Work autonomously within established procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR-BLS certification
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credentialing agency
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
