About the Role

Rippling is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Strategic Finance team in New York or San Francisco. This role will partner with FP&A, go-to-market, and R&D/CX business units, focusing on long-range planning, strategic insights through industry research, and supporting fundraising/M&A activities. The position offers high visibility to senior leadership and requires experience in finance at a high-growth technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the companywide long-range planning model and assess key levers impacting the financial profile.
  • Monitor industry peers (HCM and SaaS) and share strategic insights with leadership.
  • Evaluate future company opportunities (product areas, GTM channels) through market sizing, benchmarking, research, and expert calls.
  • Conduct internal data analysis to understand trends influencing the financial forecast, update the LRP, and assess implications for product and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts and M&A initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of finance experience.
  • Previous experience in banking, consulting, or investing is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, including creating financial models from scratch and conducting deep dive analysis.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a high-growth environment, taking ownership and driving projects to completion with limited guidance.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams with strong communication skills, effective with non-financial audiences.
  • Experience with Salesforce and SQL are a plus but not required.
