About the Role

Rippling offers an engineering internship program focused on mentorship, project ownership, and professional growth. Interns join teams for a 13-week period to develop full-stack products, solve complex business problems, and gain experience equivalent to full-time engineers. The program aims to identify emerging talent for potential post-graduation full-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, well-designed products and implement new features
• Solve complex problems affecting the business and clients
• Utilize software engineering experience to develop quality code
• Think critically to apply knowledge to real-world problems
• Participate in team meetings to scope and drive project progress
• Learn about business operations and client needs
• Attend executive meet-and-greets to gain a holistic company view
• Foster relationships through intern cohort and company-wide social events

Requirements

• Previous internship or co-op experience in software engineering
• Experience with Python for backend development
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend development
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
• Graduation date scheduled after the completion of the internship
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions
• Passion and drive for continuous learning and development
• Ability to work in-office at least three days a week
