About the Role

Join Rippling's Security Assurance team to deliver internationally recognized security certifications and attestations, support regulatory obligations, and strengthen the company's security assurance program. This role is crucial as Rippling experiences significant growth, and the Security team is vital in protecting company assets and data.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of security assurance programs across ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27018, and CSA STAR.
• Coordinate evidence collection and liaise with internal stakeholders and auditors for annual certification and attestation activities.
• Perform security due diligence on vendors, evaluating data processing, storage, usage, security controls, certifications, and external ratings.
• Enhance security policies and standards, mature the policy lifecycle, and improve governance and review processes for the ISMS.
• Support internal teams and external stakeholders with ad hoc security assurance requests, including audit evidence, customer due diligence, and policy guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security compliance roles.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• In-depth familiarity with information security standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Proficiency in cloud security best practices.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining information security policies.
• Good understanding of privacy regulations and data handling obligations.
• Ability to work effectively alongside legal and privacy teams.
