About the Role
Sofive Soccer Center is seeking energetic, dependable, and kid-focused coaches for its Skills Institute team. Coaches will lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5-12, utilizing a proven curriculum to foster technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12
- Teach core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork
- Follow the Skills Institute curriculum and class structure
- Create a positive, encouraging, and appropriately challenging environment
- Promote teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Build strong relationships with players and families
- Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers professionally and enthusiastically
- Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed
Requirements
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Successful completion of a background check

Experience Level
- Limited coaching experience required
