About the Role
The Data Analyst provides analytics support for investigations and litigation cases within the CACI Data Analytics lab. This role involves managing project lifecycles from initiation to closure, integrating diverse data types, and developing solutions to support customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support projects from initiation to closure and develop deliverables.
- Serve as a primary point-of-contact for attorneys, investigators, and case teams.
- Integrate data from primary and secondary sources using researched methods.
- Develop and enforce efficient processes for data collection and transformation.
- Assist senior staff in the creation and finalization of client deliverables.
- Manage the collection, documentation, vetting, and onboarding of data.
- Perform database development, setup, and data loading into analytical tools.
- Define, develop, and communicate data analytics solutions.
- Correspond with key personnel to elicit requirements and provide status updates.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to identify relationships, trends, and predictions.
- Propose and deliver reporting solutions for end users.
- Guide and assist other team members.
Requirements
- DOJ MBI clearance required to start.
- Significant experience with Tableau Software, IBM i2 Analyst Notebook, or ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Background in Law Enforcement, Data Science, Investigations, Data Analysis, Computer Information Systems, or Statistics.
- Knowledge of industry analytics, business intelligence trends, and data quality approaches.
- Deep understanding of database, ETL, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a local or virtual team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
