About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our UK team, playing a leading role in developing our civil engineering capabilities and contributing to significant national and international projects. You will ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of design across a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects within the built environment. The role provides opportunities for professional growth and support towards Chartership (CEng).

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
Take responsibility for all aspects of design across a numerous and varied portfolio of civil engineering projects, concerned predominantly with infrastructure within the built environment.
Manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers.
Deliver to and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment.
Knowledge of the UK construction market.
Relevant experience in civil engineering design relating to the built environment.
Experience in the design of infrastructure (roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, pavements, public realm, earthworks, utility infrastructure) for both highway and drainage authorities (design to adoptable standards) and developers.
Experience taking schemes from initial concept/risk identification, through approval processes, to detailed design for construction.
Experience of infrastructure as part of buildings projects working closely with other disciplines would be an advantage.
Proven track record in successfully delivering projects on time and within budgetary constraints.
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers.
