About the Role
As a Market Intelligence Manager at Johnson Matthey, a world leader in platinum group metals, you will leverage advanced metals chemistry to help tackle global challenges by applying, refining, and recycling metals for a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
- Lead market intelligence, market sizing, and forecasting activities to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze commercial performance, market share, and customer trends to highlight risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Develop actionable customer and segment insights to support account planning, portfolio priorities, and revenue growth.
- Create dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to improve visibility of key commercial metrics and business performance.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Strategy, Product Management, and Marketing teams to embed insights into planning and forecasting.
- Mentor analysts and promote best practices in market research, commercial analysis, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, R&D, or a related discipline with significant experience in market research, analytics, or commercial insights.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Experience developing market models, forecasts, and performance analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to anticipate market developments and assess competitive scenarios to support business planning.
- Experience coaching colleagues and building effective working relationships across all organizational levels.
