About the Role

As a Team Member, you will be key in making customers feel welcome and creating the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience. MERKUR Slots is a market-leading business that invests in training and supports employees to be their best.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer actions and behavior, noting any suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration tasks to 100% accuracy.
• Help ensure promotions run smoothly and successfully.
• Provide customer service in line with company standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate according to the complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and intervene as appropriate, logging all interactions.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to the brand dress code.
• Achieve, maintain, and impart great product knowledge to customers.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
• Actively discourage harassment, victimisation, or discrimination against employees, management, or customers.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
• Possess a passion for providing first-class service.
• Be flexible and able to work on a rota basis including weekends, nights, and Bank Holidays.
• Be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
• Experience working in a retail, hospitality, or gambling environment.
• Experienced in delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Be flexible and dedicated.
• Have attention to detail.
• Industry and compliance training will be given.
• Willingness to undertake night work.
