Responsibilities
- Inspire and support the next generation of business professionals.
- Teach across Diploma, Bachelor, and Master's Business programs.
- Deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences in areas focused on Management, Leadership, Strategy, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Entrepreneurship, Sport, Events and Project Management.
- Combine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design, and innovation.
- Create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging, and centred around student success.
- Create inclusive, engaging learning experiences and help every student succeed.
- Experiment with AI and digital tools, and rethink traditional approaches to teaching.
- Seek feedback, use learning analytics, and continuously refine teaching based on effectiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to improve learning, share ideas, and solve challenges.
- Adapt to a dynamic, digitally evolving higher education environment.
Requirements
- PhD (completed or in progress) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more core business disciplines (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Strategy, Economics).
- Strong digital and analytical capabilities, including the application of AI and technology-enabled decision-making.
- Current industry practice with the ability to integrate contemporary business, responsible and sustainable business principles (including ethics, ESG, and governance), and best-practice learning and teaching approaches into the student experience.
- Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environments in Higher Education.
- Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching.
- Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education.
- Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities.
- A student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion).
