About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering manufacturing excellence across all UK co-packing operations, including ownership of SRP and FDU execution, material readiness, pricing governance, and operational performance at 3PL sites. The position leads the Supply Chain infrastructure and systems project agenda, focusing on digitalization, capability building, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead 3PL execution of SRP and FDU co-packing to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery
- Ensure material readiness by coordinating product, packaging, and operational planning
- Govern co-pack KPIs including service, quality, cost, and productivity
- Manage the quotation process for all co-packing activities
- Negotiate best-value rates with 3PL partners
- Implement and document compliant pricing changes
- Lead Supply Chain infrastructure and systems development initiatives
- Drive digitalization and Industry 4.0-aligned improvements using systems like BlueYonder, Nulogy, and Centiro
- Lead manufacturing-related elements of NPD implementation at 3PL sites
- Develop and embed a LEAN culture and continuous improvement mindset
- Lead loss-mapping, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving
- Manage manufacturing capital expenditure budget
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team
- Collaborate across functions including Sales, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Procurement, PMO, and IT
Requirements
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in an FMCG environment
- Co-packer or supplier management experience
- Capital Investment Project or Programme management experience
- Line management experience
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Performance driven, tenacious, and goal-orientated
- Ability to work in a fast and dynamic organization while maintaining strong controls
