About the Role
General Services Officers support daily facility operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. They contribute to hospitality, cleaning, laundry, and food-service functions, ensuring high standards of hygiene, comfort, and service to enhance residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in the dining room, serve meals with care, and know resident preferences.
- Ensure resident rooms and community areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, paying attention to detail.
- Manage residents' personal laundry with respect and care.
- Work as a key part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all residents.
- Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
Requirements
- A passion for helping people and making a difference in your community.
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn across different areas of hospitality.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, police check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
