About the Role
GXO is seeking 3.5 ton Van Drivers to join their team in Greenford, working with their customer, Waitrose. This role offers training and development opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently complete multi-drop deliveries, typically serving 20+ customers per day
- Accurately complete all delivery-related tasks, including managing customer returns and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care by conducting daily checks, following defect-reporting procedures, and operating the vehicle safely, legally and economically at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to Waitrose customers at their doorstep, representing the brand with professionalism and personality
- Consistently meet delivery performance targets in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- A full UK manual driving licence, older than 6 months
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no T, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- Work flexibly to support business needs, including unsocial hours and weekend shifts
