About the Role

This role is vital in implementing world-class marketing initiatives to enhance the CBA brand, focusing on driving brand preference, creating demand-centric campaigns, and achieving NPS outcomes through impactful execution across paid media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for platforms and customer-centric marketing, specializing in Paid Media.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the tactical planning of digital-only Bronze briefs, defining objectives, KPIs, channel mix, budgets, pacing, and funnel sequencing.
  • Develop audience and creative planning across paid social, paid search, display, and programmatic.
  • Coordinate digital plan governance and handover, ensuring planning inputs are documented, media submissions are received and assigned, and budget/invoicing/pacing remain accurate.
  • Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and target audience segments in alignment with brand and performance goals.
  • Develop tactical digital media recommendations across paid social, paid search, display, and programmatic.
  • Establish budget pacing parameters, flight dates, and funnel sequencing logic.
  • Review digital planning recommendations against Joint Business Plan ambitions, platform opportunities, and agreed investment priorities.
  • Build clear audience architecture across first-party data segments, platform-native audiences, and third-party data partners.
  • Partner with media delivery, testing, marketing, and agency teams to ensure targeting recommendations are practical, compliant, and ready for implementation.
  • Align creative assets and variants to audience segments, funnel stages, and placement specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure digital planning inputs are clearly documented, actionable, and aligned to campaign objectives, timelines, compliance requirements, and platform specifications.
  • Support the development of Bronze brief planning documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, platform updates, audience products, and emerging digital media opportunities.
  • Manage the monthly internal invoicing process, ensuring budget accuracy, pacing monitoring, and portfolio-level reporting remain accurate.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently to drive planning tasks to completion.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated passion for Digital Media Planning, Strategy, Paid Media & Ad Tech
  • Minimum 4 years’ Digital Planning & Strategy experience
  • Deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem and media landscape in Australia.
  • Experience/ Strong Knowledge across Paid Media platforms (SA360, DV360, CM360, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat)
  • Experience using analytics tools i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • Self-starter, fast learner who is detail-oriented and is a critical thinker
  • Exceptional skills in campaign and coordination management
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional at building internal and external relationships with the ability to work cross functionally across a wide range of stakeholders & agency partners.
