About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative for Building Automation, you will be responsible for creating and tracking offers, actively supporting new customer acquisition, and calculating bids. You will develop modern and sustainable system solutions for complex buildings in close collaboration with the field service. Additionally, you will identify and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids in coordination with purchasing, and support the development and implementation of sales and sales promotion measures. Processing specifications and tenders, considering current standards and guidelines, is also part of your responsibilities. You will select suitable products for building automation solutions, obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, and provide support to field sales. You will actively contribute to achieving sales targets and the qualitative development of sales.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, or HVAC technology, or a comparable technical qualification
  • First professional experience in electrical engineering, automation technology, or HVAC technology is desirable
  • Knowledge of building automation and initial experience with field devices and control cabinets are advantageous
  • Understanding of technical interrelationships
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Structured, independent, and team-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoyment of customer contact
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
