About the Role

As a Bauingenieur:in Stationsumbauten, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing modifications to house and transfer stations within Berlin's district heating network. Responsibilities

  • Provide information on possibilities for changing house and transfer stations.
  • Plan modifications to house and transfer stations, including on-site inspections and planning.
  • Create cost estimates for station modifications/reconstruction.
  • Coordinate with customers or their planning companies regarding the redesign of system components.
  • Liaise with project participants and specialist departments.
  • Commission executing companies from the annual contract (call-off of funds).
  • Plan the reconstruction phase from decommissioning to recommissioning of the house and transfer station.
  • Oversee and accept the construction services rendered.
  • Verify measurements and billing.
  • Review and hand over documentation.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in engineering or a comparable field.
  • Initial knowledge of district heating supply.
  • Previous experience in the described task area.
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Good assertiveness.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Approximately 70 percent of the requirements are sufficient for application.
