About the Role

Oversee day-to-day operations of docket functions and assist with maintaining the docket database for Litigation, Corporate, and Administrative departments. This role involves using AI tools to enhance work processes and requires a willingness to learn and experiment with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Review court, agency, and client documents for relevant deadlines.
  • Calculate court and regulatory deadlines and enter information into the docket database.
  • Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding docket entries.
  • Maintain rule sets used in the docket software.
  • Provide ongoing training and exposure to staff and attorneys on docket policies, procedures, and rule changes.
  • Monitor electronic court filings.
  • Assist in data collection, retrieval, and analysis for Risk Management projects.
  • Calendar 83b filing deadlines into CompuLaw.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with automated docketing/calendaring programs.
  • Knowledge of federal and state court structures, procedures, and filing requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal direction.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • 5+ years calendaring experience in a law firm or legal department.
  • Proficiency in automated docketing/calendaring programs.

Salary/Compensations

  • $68,000 - $95,750
