About the Role
Mollie Stone's Markets is seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper (Backup) Cashier/APC (All Purpose Clerk) Clerk at our Grand Central location. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven and flexible, capable of performing various tasks including bookkeeping, cashiering, and restocking.
Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of weekly payroll to the corporate payroll department.
- Process the daily deposit and balance the books.
- Complete weekly reports and paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with inquiries.
- Perform cashiering duties when required.
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations.
- Restock inventory, conduct price checks, and return products to proper shelf locations.
Requirements
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to learn new technology.
- Willingness to train and work in other areas of the store as needed.
- Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Previous bookkeeping and cash handling experience.
- Available to work mornings and weekends.
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Local candidates only.
