About the Role
Inspired Education is seeking an ambitious Head of Admissions to manage the admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolment and onboarding. This target-driven role involves collaborating with the Head of School and Central Marketing Team to grow enrolment, build relationships, and expand the school community.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive performance across the full buying journey – Attract, Convert, Close and Delight – taking personal accountability for enquiry, visit, application, offer and enrolment conversion rates
- Respond to all enquiries (phone, email, web, social media, walk-in) within agreed timeframes, capturing high-quality data to tailor the approach to each family
- Organise private tours and Open Mornings with the Senior Leadership team, building rapport with prospective families, delivering consistent USPs and creating memorable, personalised experiences that convert visits into applications
- Proactively follow up with prospective families using a structured cadence to move families through the pipeline and re-engage those who have gone quiet
- Manage the assessment, interview and offer process in partnership with the Head of School and academic team, ensuring timely and personalised communication of outcomes
- Take full ownership of OpenApply (CRM) as the single source of truth – ensuring enquiries, activity and pipeline stages are logged accurately and on time
- Monitor and report on KPIs (lead volume, stage-by-stage conversion rates, churn %) to the Head of School and Central Marketing Team, using data to identify bottlenecks
- Develop and deliver an annual outreach and admissions plan aligned with the Central Marketing Team's marketing plan, feeding back on trends, competitor activity and changing parent needs
- Manage scholarship and fee discount conversations in line with Group policy, working with the Head of School to structure and route offers for approval, converting price-sensitive families without undermining fee integrity
- Own the retention and re-enrolment process – identifying potential leavers early, managing sensitive exit conversations, and supporting win-back and Inspired sister-school transfer opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, agents, embassies and corporate partners to generate high-quality leads
- Represent the school confidently and commercially when liaising with other Heads and registrars, positioning the school's unique value against competitors
Requirements
- A track record in a sales, business development or commercially-focused customer conversion role; admissions or education sector experience is helpful but not essential
- A target-driven, resilient mindset with a genuine motivation to convert enquiries into enrolments
- Confident, persuasive communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and tailor messaging to different audiences
- Strong commercial and numerical acumen – comfortable discussing fees, discounts and scholarships, and interpreting conversion data and KPIs
- Proficiency with CRM systems (OpenApply/iSAMS experience desirable), confident using data to manage a pipeline and report on performance
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of relationships and follow-ups without letting any lead go cold
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends for events and tours
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Professional, warm and approachable, representing the school's brand and values in every interaction with prospective and current families
- Experience working collaboratively across teams (marketing, finance, academic staff) to achieve shared growth goals
