About the Role

Red Hat is seeking a Senior Consultant with advanced expertise in hybrid cloud platforms, focusing on Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible. This role involves analyzing infrastructure and application requirements in large, complex enterprise environments, leading architecture design and implementation, and developing delivery strategies from Proof of Concepts to full-scale deployments. The consultant will also validate technologies, manage customer expectations in collaboration with project managers, and drive project success.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in complex, large-scale platform implementation projects, leading design and delivery of standard solutions.
Lead architecture design and configuration for scalable, robust infrastructure on-premises, public cloud, and hybrid cloud using RHEL, Red Hat OpenShift, and Ansible.
Drive advanced cloud and infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline construction, and DevOps process adoption to modernize customer system lifecycles.
Assist with project planning, guide teams towards goals, and provide architectural solutions for technical challenges.
Clearly articulate the business value of Red Hat technologies to IT leaders and stakeholders, acting as a Trusted Advisor.
Provide technical mentoring, reviews, and feedback to junior consultants and associates to enhance team skills.
Identify future business opportunities (Upsell/Cross-sell) from a technical perspective and support customer technology roadmap advancement in collaboration with sales and architect teams.

Requirements

Over 13 years of practical experience in the technology field and experience collaborating with enterprise customers on various development and implementation projects.
Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure design, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting using Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift in complex enterprise environments.
Deep knowledge and architectural design/operational experience with Linux (RHEL or equivalent distribution).
Solid knowledge of infrastructure automation (IaC) using Ansible and DevOps/CI/CD server technologies (at least one).
Experience in designing, developing, and managing mission-critical applications.
Proven ability to lead small technical teams within projects and build relationships with engineering, sales, and executive management.
Strong growth mindset for independently learning new technology trends and achieving technical goals by digesting Red Hat's advanced training content.
Highly effective communication and negotiation skills in Japanese.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
