About the Role
Support the development and execution of test cases for embedded software applications while learning to create automated test scripts and contributing to functional, integration, and regression testing under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of test cases for embedded software applications
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of embedded software systems
- Create and run automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Participate in code reviews to gain insights into testability and test coverage
- Contribute to exploratory and reliability testing of embedded software
- Follow established software testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
- Familiarity with programming languages used in testing embedded systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
