About the Role
Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park is seeking reliable and enthusiastic night shift Room Attendants to join their Housekeeping Team. This role is important in ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay.
Responsibilities
- Service and refresh guest rooms to the highest hotel standards, ensuring there is no history of pre occupation.
- Carry out evening turndown service.
- Report maintenance issues and repair requirements promptly and as per hotel procedure.
- Maintain housekeeping storerooms and trolleys in a clean, organised and well stocked condition.
- Complete deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Follow hotel procedure for lost property.
- Ensure the security of guest rooms, keys and hotel property at all times.
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with WHS requirements.
Requirements
- Trustworthy, dependable, and takes pride in delivering quality work every shift.
- Previous housekeeping, room attendant or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A high level of trustworthiness, honesty and reliability.
- Strong communication skills with fluent spoken English.
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role including tasks such as walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and major event periods when required.
