About the Role
The Strategy, Projects & Support team in Taxes & Grants supports the Executive Director’s office and business units to deliver strategic functions that enhance engagement, improve business operations, build capability, and support effective executive communications. This role will coordinate, analyze, and engage stakeholders to support project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress against plans and milestones.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Contribute research and analysis to inform project decisions and briefings.
- Provide updates on project status to project teams and stakeholders.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries.
- Coordinate activities to keep project delivery on track.
- Support the practical implementation of project plans.
- Identify and escalate project issues.
- Adapt to competing priorities and tight timeframes.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers.
- Ensure effective follow-through on project actions.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Update and maintain project documentation, records and reporting.
- Undertake research and basic analysis to contribute to project briefs.
- Support the implementation of project plans.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, respond to enquiries and coordinate project activities.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support, including organising meetings, preparing papers and tracking actions.
Requirements
- Extensive and current Taxes & Grants product knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience working across all Taxes & Grants business units.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to support project delivery, including monitoring milestones, tracking progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear written materials and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Experience undertaking research and basic analysis to inform decision making, project planning and briefing materials.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively within team environments and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project documentation, reporting and records.
- Initiative and adaptability to identify issues, support problem solving and adjust priorities to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
