About the Role

As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, you will be empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives within a supportive work environment where your compassion is valued and your professional development is prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors.
• Comply with Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment, including dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas.
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families, and visitors.
• Serve residents meals and snacks, ensuring correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs.
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated compassion and empathy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Australian Working Rights.
• A valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, must be verified prior to commencing employment.
