About the Role
The Sales Associate's goal is to complete daily tasks according to the store management team's specifications to ensure optimal customer service and smooth operations, while contributing to sales optimization. The role holder must perform their duties in a manner that ensures all tasks within their area are completed accurately, on time, efficiently, and economically.
Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with guidelines taught in TK Maxx's basic training.
- Customer service
- Work safety instruction
- Preparation of goods deliveries for sale
- Merchandise presentation
- Fitting room service
- Checkout processes
- Handling of markdowns
- Responsible for correct goods receipt processing and quick goods preparation
- Ensures the fastest possible flow of goods from storage areas to the sales floor in the respective departments
- Responsible for sales-promoting merchandise presentation
- Replenishing display racks and quick, flexible, and needs-based adjustment of merchandise presentation in individual departments in consultation with the store management team
- Continuous assortment maintenance according to size, department, and product groups, as well as merchandise labeling and security specifications
- Responsible for tidying up merchandise, as well as for cleanliness and order in the store and ancillary rooms
- Marking down merchandise according to current time and process specifications
