About the Role

As a Product Manager, you will actively shape the development of innovative products in the areas of Dataspaces, Data Ecosystems, and the Data Economy. You will work in an international team using modern tools and collaborate with experienced Product Managers, Data Scientists, System Architects, and other experts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product strategy, define the roadmap, and manage the further development of innovative products in the area of Dataspaces based on Gaia-X and IDS standards, from the initial idea to successful market launch.
  • Analyze customer requirements and market needs, derive clear product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and manage implementation with Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture.
  • Actively shape data-driven business models and develop innovative solution approaches for customer and funding projects.
  • Support Sales and Presales as a technical contact for offers, demos, Proof of Concepts, and customer presentations, contributing the product perspective.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop target customers, and actively contribute to expanding partnerships and the sales pipeline in the areas of Dataspaces, Data Ecosystems, and Data Economy.
  • Manage product and project initiatives, take responsibility for defined work packages, and work according to agile methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Work in an international and interdisciplinary team with experienced Product Managers, Consultants, Data Scientists, and System Architects.
  • Utilize modern tools and methods such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Salesforce, Miro, and Design Thinking to efficiently develop and successfully implement innovative products.

Requirements

  • Studying Business, Business Informatics, a comparable degree program, or currently in a Gap Year.
  • Several years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a comparable position, ideally in the B2B or technology environment.
  • Experience in the development and marketing of digital, data-driven products.
  • Sound understanding of data-driven business models and modern digital technologies.
  • Enjoy interacting with customers and partners.
  • Confident demeanor with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Target-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • High degree of initiative and team spirit.
  • Experience with agile working methods, ideally according to SAFe.
  • Experience with modern software tools.
